Lubao - Sasmuan, Pampanga

To further explore the towns of Pampanga, we chose Lubao as our cycling destination.

We arrived first at the St. Agustine Church in Lubao, the oldest church in Pampanga. Its facade was undergoing renovation at that time.

We continued our journey to Sasmuan, another town of Pampanga. Out there, we passed by a road which is in between fish ponds.

On our way back, we met a group of bikers from Angeles in the mega dike at Sta. Rita side.

We savored the fresh air and the awesome top view of country-side farms below the dike.

Good thing we brought a camera and captured the beauty of nature.

Minalin, Pampanga

In search for new routes, we decided to try the road to Minalin, Pampanga. We took the usual track to Bacolor then detoured left at the tail dike.

We passed through a straight, off-road path,then reached the bailey bridge which we had to cross.

Crossing the bridge made us excited and nervous at the same time because of its narrow, creaky, wooden flooring.

The water holes caused by earlier rain pours, which we had to avoid, also made the course challenging.

At last, we arrived in Minalin. The stone church was a landmark of the place.

Going back, we passed by a stunning red-orange flower-bearing plant and took some time to take pictures.

And that sums up our Minalin journey.
