To commemorate the city-hood of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga and to promote and recognize its different municipalities, the local government hosted the annual Cycling Caravan. The event was participated by biking enthusiasts from Pampanga and nearby towns.
This year was our first year to join such caravans. It also marked the start of our weekend biking escapades. Luckily, we got the chance to have a photo with the mayor, Mayor Oca Rodriguez.
About 600 bikers joined the caravan. Uniform shirts were provided for all the participants.
The route rounded the barangays of San Fernando, Pampanga which covered 50 km.
Clueless and unfamiliar with the bike gears, we easily got tired and almost didn't finished the race.
But in general, it was a fun & memorable experience.
Food were also given throughout the event.
Hope that we can join the next caravan. We'll be more ready by that time.
